est un Institut privé qui travaille sur le bénévolat et le volontariat & l’éducation et la formation tout
au long de la vie. Créée en 2004 par Bénédicte Halba et Eve-Marie Halba, présidente et
secrétaire générale de l'iriv, la revue propose une réflexion sur des thèmes aussi variés que l'expérience, la promesse,
la différence, ou les confins... avec des témoignages venus de France, d'Europe et du reste du Monde.

The institute for research and information on volunteering (www.iriv.net)
is a private institute specializing in the non-for-profit sector in Lifelong Learning (LLL). It has directed,
coordinated, and been involved in many European and national projects. Its electronic review, les rives de l'iriv - www.benevolat.net -
was created in 2004 by Bénédicte Halba and Eve-Marie Halba, president and general secretary of the Institute.
The review has published articles on topics as various as experience, promise, difference or borders with contributions from France,
Europe and worldwide.

dr Bartłomiej Walczak is a sociologist and cultural anthropologist with over 15 years of experience in social research and adults education. He is in particular interested in evaluation in education, correlations between migration and education, parental involvement in education, students’ safety, educational change. He authored two, co-authored four other books and published over 60 other scientific publications, both in Polish and international journals. He participated in over 70 research and evaluation projects and worked as an expert for numerous Polish and international institutions, among others: OECD, OSCE, Public Education Evaluation Commission (Saudi Arabia), Polish ministry of education and its agencies, local authorities. Between 2009-2015 he was a member of a team at Jagiellonian University in Krakow introducing the reform of pedagogical supervision system in Poland and new learning processes’ requirements for schools. He was responsible for the methodology and analysis of this project and training curriculum. Furthermore, he worked as a trainer with all the stakeholders involved in the project (school inspectors, school principals, teachers, local authorities). At the same period, he worked as a researcher for the Södertörn University in Schools under scrutiny project. He has been involved in Erasmus + project „VOYCE” which concerns volunteering and preventing ESL
